AW: vrf combining arrays

In the function object browser, select the function, object, or property in
the right most window that you're interested in. Click help. If you get some
error message, re-install Excel using the "custom and select all" option
rather than "typical". This will give you the help files for VB too. I've
found no decent written material. I think the best plan is to have at it,
using VB help. When you get stuck trying to use a particular function, post
for help. When you ask very specific questions, you'll get an answer 99.99%
of the time. For me, one day it just made sense, and from then on I've had
no problems. One valuable tool is record macro. If you want to know the
commands to do something just record and do it. Then, edit the macro to see
what functions will perform it.

Subject: vrf VRf - Excel ActiveX command Reference Guide?

I am trying to write a program in v5.0 that will plug data into Excel97, and
manipulate it, save file, etc...

I'm new to using ActiveX, so I'm having some difficulty locating a 'master
reference' of the commands that I can use to control Excel.  The only one's
I have found are in the sample files.

Does anyone know of a complete guide to all commands available to control
Excel?  Preferably something on-line rather than in print.

Also, would like to know of any books available on the market that explain
the ins and outs of controlling programs such as Excel in fairly simple
terms.

Thanks in advance,
Paul
