It would also save a lot of right clicking if there was a series of buttons to toggle different layers on/off in the board layout mode. Thanks for the consideration.
The feature I think you're requesting already exists.
It sounds like you're right-clicking the layout then choosing "show/hide layers", then manipulating the layers one at a time. There is another way...
You can access the layout properties box in one of two ways-
Right-click black area of layout and choose "layout properties"
or
Doubleclick black area of layout.
Once there, on the "general layer" tab, there's a "hide" column with checkboxes for each layer. You can manipulate multiple layers with one visit to the "general layer" tab.
