Eagleware Forums Moving to Knowledge Center on Feb 4
For many years, the central gathering place of the Eagleware community has been the user "Forums" at http://forum.eagleware.com/index.php. Agilent EEsof EDA is expanding its existing Agilent KnowledgeCenter Tech Support website to incorporate these Forum features, and a series of infrastructure changes will begin over the weekend of Feb 4. Eagleware Forum users will see minor changes in functionality and some cosmetic differences, but over time will pick up the benefits of the KnowledgeCenter that ADS users already enjoy, such as Tech Support document search, defect search, personalized reports, and more.
One key Forum element that is being preserved is the ability for non-supported and pre-sales GENESYS customers to look at our GENESYS Forums without having full access to the rest of the Agilent KnowledgeCenter.
The Eagleware Forums have traditionally been an open RF community. These forums have been, and will continue to be, relatively open access, requiring only basic login credentials. We agree with Eagleware’s attitude that the GENESYS community at large is an important part of expanding awareness of the GENESYS product. Beyond this public access, the Agilent KnowledgeCenter provides an additional level of service delivered to supported users of ADS, GENESYS, EMDS, RFDE, GoldenGate, and other Agilent products. The rest of the KnowledgeCenter capability will be available to supported customers, and also to customers doing active evaluations of GENESYS using demo codewords.
More about the KnowledgeCenter
There are several years of content, literally thousands of postings, on the old Eagleware Forums. All of these articles will be migrated to KnowledgeCenter, complete with internal hyperlinks, along with all active Forum user accounts, and software downloads of archival versions of the GENESYS software.
Forum users will be notified in email of their new login info for KnowledgeCenter, how to register, and what to expect. Once users have been to the new site with “cookiesâ€
