Hello,
I am running GeneSys 2008.07 and on a 2-port S-parameter file, Genesys is giving me a warning that the supplied S-parameters are non-physical for various frequency bands. Two questions:
1) What are the criteria to say the data is non physical?
2) What does Genesys do to make it physical?
(I could not find anything in the help).
Thanks.

The documentation for physical S parameters was updated in version 2009.04. You can find a copy of the help file here:
http://edocs.soco.agilent.com/display/genesys2009/Home
The content is found in:
User's Guide > Using Genesys > S-Parameters in Genesys > Using S-Parameters in Genesys > Physical S-Parameters
or
http://edocs.soco.agilent.com/display/g ... Simulation
In Genesys when the S-Parameters are loaded they are converted to Y-Parameters. The Y-Parameter diagonal entries are manually changed in Genesys to meet the 'Physical S-Parameter' criteria given in the above mentioned help section.
