Hi all--
I've learned how to make a custom model and store it to a library and how to make a custom symbol and store it to a library.
Now I want to create a custom model with a custom symbol (a Schottky diode, actually) and be able to drop the brand new 'part' into schematics.
I am 'sure' this can be done; I even promised my boss!
Uh erm, so now... howdoyoudothat?
Thanks, I hope.

The fastest/easiest way to do this is through the "create part wizard"; you just select the electrical model and symbol to use, and what library to put it in. This is accessed from the "Action" menu on the main toolbar.
Once the part is in the part library, you'll be able to choose your library from the drop-down menu in the part selector, and it'll show a list of custom parts in that library.
