I am trying to convert my simulated group delay

plot into pole-zero form or equation form.

Would like to do a Laplace transform or pole zero

format of the data.

This would allow me to port the data to Matlab

where the system guys can analyze the effect

of the filter nonconstant group delay vs. freq.

I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're asking for. Since you mention a Laplace transform, are you wanting to recover the system transfer function from the Group Delay? It seems to me that if all you have is Group Delay which is related to the derivative of the phase, then all you would be able to recover is the phase information of the transfer function (nothing about the magnitude).
