vrf matlab image save to file

Question asked by VRFuser on Nov 1, 2000

Richard,

If I am reading your question correctly you are wanting the filename to be a
variable defined somewhere in the VEE program (not hard-coded into the
MatLab script object). Try the following line of code for the print
statement.

print ('-djpeg', filename);

Using this syntax allows parameters to be passed into the print function
while the syntax you are using assumes the arguments are not parameters.

Hope this helps,

I am further along, but still not home.  A short version of the code is

bar(X,Y);
xlabel('V');
ylabel('freq');
title('Vbd Distribution');
print -djpeg filename;

X, Y and filename are input pins to the script object,  filename is type
text.  I don't get a file.  If instead of filename I specify explicitly 'c:
     est.jpg' it works.  I must be getting the syntax wrong.  There is no
error, just no output.

Please copy me directly on any responses, at scubaman@us.ibm.com, I am
having some trouble with my userID and subscription.
