Just an idea for a future option.. Would it be possible to have a feature that would disable simulations or sweeps, somthing similar to the open , short feature in the model elements accept this would be on,off..

That already exists actually, right click on the simulation (such as a parameter sweep) and select "automatically calculate" -- this will determine whether the stuff gets recalculate when something in the workspace changes (like values, levels, etc.).
I find this useful when I've got big workspaces with many many different types of analysis.
If you want to save the space from the analysis (memory when file is saved), you can select "delete internal data".
