This is regarding a proposed ATE application where I have a 'reference' bitmap of a PCB showing component layout and orientation and would like to compare this image with one taken of a PCB on the test fixture. A pass/fail indication depending on component presence/orientation is my goal (ie: diodes/caps reversed). This pre-test stage would prevent the ATE system applying power to a PCB which is visually incorrect/incomplete thus allowing reworking/repair. </FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT size=2>(This is all theoryso far) . I've seen a such a system based on Labview & IMAQ, but have no references to any HPVee apps.</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT size=2>Any help or info, even if negative would be much appreciated.</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT size=2>regards, </FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT size=2>John Byrne.</FONT> </DIV></BODY></HTML>
