Are there any simple methods to ASCII measured data into IC-CAP? The only method that I knew is to manually change the ASCII data file into .mdm format. Any better approach?

What you are doing, using *mdm is the recommended and most flexible approach for importing data into IC-CAP. You can if you wish, simplify this process by first creating a Setup in IC-CAP to match the contents of the data you wish to import and then doing and Export. This gives you an mdm template into which you can fill in your actual data.
An alternate approach is to use PEL commands to read in data and/or information. Examples on how to do this are located in the demo_features directory:
$ICCAP_ROOT/examples/demo_features/5_EXTRACTION_n_MDLG_with_PEL/1_data_import_export. There are examples there for reading and writing diverse information, including touchstone (s2p) files and
additonal examples are found under the 2read_data directory.
I hope this helps! If you have further questions, please contact Agilent EEsof
