IÂ´m using Momentum in combination with the Advanced Model Composer (AMC) for the effective design and simulation of integrated coils. When I use the AMC with discrete values for two parameters (e.g.: diameter and metal width), it is only possible to apply the same discrete parameters to the model component. The interpolation between the former discrete parameters isnÂ´t allowed. Due to the complex behaviour of the coils over a wide range of diameter and stripe width in the frequency range from 10 MHz to 40 GHz the AMC failes using the adaptive parameter sweep. Is there a work around or an improvement in the AMC, which allows also to access parameters in the model component, which has not been calculated in the model building sequence before with discrete parameters. The only way now is to increase the number of fixed parameter values, which is not the way as I understand the concept of the AMC.

If the idea is that two component parameters are linked to each other or in some way constrained, then you typically need to take care of this in an artwork AEL and make sure the parameter range computed in AMC does create any violations.
