Hi,
I am using Window XP pro to setup ADS for multiple users in a PC. I've added the %username% to the 'start in' directory in the ADS properties and changed the HOME environment in the registry to point to different users. When ADS starts, the startup directory is correct. However, the hpeesof directory is not created for different users. It still point to the default hpeesof directory. Any ideas how to overcome this problem?
Thank you.

The easiest way to overcome this is to isolate the "start in" location for each different user. ADS creates the directory where it will start in (typically C:\users\default) when ADS is installed, not when ADS is started.
If you are using WindowsXP Pro, most likely each individual user will have their own login account on the PC. What I would recommend doing is creating a desktop shortcut for each user/login for them launch ADS. All the users' shortcuts will point to the same target location to find ADS (typically C:\ADS2003A\bin\ads.exe) but you will want to edit each user's shortcut (right-click on the shortcut, select "Properties") to modify where ADS will start for that particular user.
To create a desktop shortcut, right-click anywhere on the desktop and select New > Shortcut. Browse into the \bin\ folder in the ADS installation directory and select "ads.exe." Select Okay > Next > Finish to complete the shortcut.
After creating the desktop shortcut. Right-click on top of the new shortcut and select Properties. Change the "Start in:" field to point to the user's personal directory where they will create an store their ADS projects.
Doing this for each user login account should solve the issue.
