33512B problem when trig source is CH2

Question asked by chba on Apr 13, 2016
version : Agilent Technologies,33512B,MY52402086,3.05-1.19-2.00-52-00
*33512B is a 2 channels version*.
Goal : CH2 sends a trig start to CH1 with a delay of 50ms
I send the following code

SOUR1:FUNC SIN
OUTP1:LOAD INF
SOUR1:VOLT 2.000000;VOLT:OFFS 1.000000;
SOUR1:FREQ 2000.000000
SOUR1:BURS:NCYC 3
SOUR1:BURS:STAT ON
TRIG1:SOUR EXT
TRIG1:SLOP POS
TRIG1:DEL 0.050000
OUTP1 ON
*OPC?
PFG send back  31 0A and now CH1 is waiting a trig to start the generation

SOUR2:FUNC SIN
OUTP2:LOAD INF
SOUR2:VOLT 5.000000;VOLT:OFFS 0.000000;
SOUR2:FREQ 1000.000000
SOUR2:BURS:INT:PER 0.100000
SOUR2:BURS:NCYC 2
SOUR2:BURS:STAT ON
TRIG2:SOUR IMM
OUTP:TRIG:SOUR CH2
OUTP:TRIG:SLOP POS
OUTP:TRIG ON                <----- this command do nothing

Problem:  the Trig Out stays in OFF state.

It is OK if CH1 trig CH2
Does anybody know how where I am wrong ?
