SP converted to TDR

Question asked by FRADEP_eesof on Feb 23, 2005
Hi Guys!
I have a question. In the example "TDRmeas_vs_model_prj", and more precisely in datadisplay SP_converted_to_TDR it is used the ts() function in order to transform a frequency domain S11 into a time domain one. Anyway, S11 is multiplied by a correction factor (as explained) in order to "normalize a trace to a known amount of energy in the transform". What is not clear to me is why, for the simulated data, it uses 2*10GHz/100 while for the measured data it takes 2*40GHz/200. Is there any theorethical reason for it?? If any, could please someone explain it to me??

Thanks for the help
