I am simulating some equal delay Ruthroff transformers using Momentum. The results are as expected up to the point where the transformer is half a wavelength long but at higher frequencies the results are erratic and seem to alternate between high insertion losses of around -10dB and gains of up to 5 dB.
This completely goes against the theory of equal delay Ruthroff transformers and I can't think why.
The same problem also occurs with Guanella baluns.

Anyways for an indepth investigation on this, I would recommend that you send in your design files to your local EESOF support office.
