I am running a harmonic balance simulation to model an image rejection mixer for a downconversion. I am using the "Mixer" model. The parameter ImageRej is affecting only the lower (frf - flo) or upper (frf + flo) sideband, which has imho nothing to do with image rejection. I am looking for a mixer which is surpressing to a certain extend the frequency at fimage = flo - fif which appears as an inband interferer after mixing.

Is there a workaround?

There is no mixer model in ADS today which models the real image rejection correctly, as far as I know.

However, in ADS 2004A there will be a new Mixer2 model which I think will handle this for you.

The workaround, until you get ADS 2004A, is to come up with a subcircuit either using filtering or a dual mixer, image rejection configuration.
