Can anyone help me?
I have narrowed my problem where Genesys reports 'perfect' impedance values (50.000 ohms etc) when I know for a fact this is not the case.
EMpower appears to have this problem when I remove the 'air above' or 'air below' layers.
I have checked and doubled checked the general layers and am using layer set ups I have used for a long while.
The most baffling thing here is I have installed GEnesys on a few machines to see if it was some form of corruption yet all three machines see the same prolem! Remove an air layer and get perfect impedances.
Has anyone seen this before or have a solution?
I am investigating stripline, the problem occurs with single and coupled stripline that I have looked at so far.
Thanks in advance

In the listing file, there is a line that says:
'!!!!!Maximal possible for de-embedding frequency 1.01124e+010Hz'
How can I change this number upwards as I would like to use EMpower past 15GHz. The example in 'benchmarks\stripline standard' has 15 and 16GHz as simulation frequencies. The example runs fine on my machine yet I canot see the difference between that and my workspace.
I would like to know what controls this max pos de-embedding frequency please.
Thanks
Mark
