Greeting!

I'm new to Genesys and looking for advice on how to import Touchstone file to calculate a amplifier stability. I have experience with ADS in calculating K. Is it similar in Genesys?

Thanks for any suggestion.

It sounds like you are very new to to the software, so once you've gone through some of the tutorial/getting started stuff, these comments might be of use.

K is a built in variable that is computed for two ports if requested -- so with the data source as your data file, you can directly plot "K".

you can also create an equation for the mu stability factor, an example of that is in the presentation I made for the users group meeting at ims2009 this past summer.

pages 18 and 19 of the presentation at this link :

will show you what the mu equation looks like and how to display it (as well as K). The mu equation needs to be entered in its own equation block and can be copied to a user library so it is available for use in all of your workspaces.
