Hello!
I found an error when zooming a smith chat.
When switching from one zoom level to antoher the diagram is shiftet, whereas the graph itself is still at the right place (see attatched pictures 1-4).
The same happens when scrolling with CTRL+Arrow Keys.
The problem is, that in higher zoom levels, when the smith chart outline cannot be seen, I can't be sure, if the graph is correct without setting markers and checking the values.
The shifting seems to be corrected, when clicking once into the diagram (but NOT on the graph). But how can I be sure, that it is really correct, when I cannot see the diagram's outline? (see pic 5)
best regards
andreas

EDIT: the advantage is, that I don't have to calculate any matching. I can move the graph whereever I want!
my genesys is "Built: 16:38:20, Aug 6 2008"
there's nothing said about "SP1"... ???
but something is quite funny.... the error does not occur anymore! :o
Yesterday I've saved my work and opend the workspace again this morning. Now, everything behaves normally.
I've also tried the older Version 2008.01 SP1 (Built Feb 19 2008). There is no problem, too.
Can I contact you via PM or e-mail to send you my workspace, if the error appears again?
best regards
andreas
If you notice the problem again, please make note of anything you did just before the problem occurred. Â Also note anything different you did prior to seeing the issue. Â Then email that info to me (details are in a private forum message I just sent).
Thanks for spotting this and reporting it; I hope it didn't cause you too much difficulty.
