GENESYS and Windows XP

Question asked by ROB_LEFEBVRE Employee on May 27, 2003
We have tested GENESYS under Windows XP and have found no problems with the software’s operation. Tests were conducted for GENESYS version 7.5 and up, configured as both stand-alone and network licensed. Versions before 7.5 may work under Windows XP but are unsupported.

Important: If you upgraded a Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000 computer to Windows XP and GENESYS no longer recognizes your hardware key, you need to download and install the latest hardware key driver.

When upgrading to Windows XP, the install program removes some drivers it believes are unnecessary. Simply downloading the hardware key driver and reinstalling it resolves this issue.
