Hi all,
I have a N1996A spectrum analyzer, which I connected to my PC using a LAN cross-cable. I was just testing it on the Agilent Interactive IO program and I found that response time when reading out the Y-axis value of my marker using "CALC:MARK1:Y?" takes about 15 seconds (The default timeout is 5 seconds and I had to change it to at least 15 or it returns a timeout error). All other commands that I've tried so far seem to be almost instantaneous. For example "CALC:MARK1:X?" returns the value almost instantly.
Does anyone else face this problem, or know if there's some default value that I should change to reduce the delay? I'm planning to write a simple program to read out the Y-axis values, but I would like to make sure that the large delay doesn't actually occur there as well.

Please make sure that you are using the latest firmware and also please make sure that you put the analyzer in single sweep and query the result after the completion of the sweep.
