Hello,
When I restart my PSA I see the following error message
"+609 Restoration of NVRAM data"
What does it mean?
I also noticed that the date and time are no longer correct, PSA says the date is 1982.
Thank you,
Joseph

The Agilent part number for the battery is 1420-0314C. Or it is a Panasonic BR2325. It can be ordered through Agilent at 1-877-447-7278. The battery is located on the CPU assembly, which has to be removed to replace the battery.
Before opening up the instrument, I'd strongly recommend reading the service manual. The service documentation for the PSA, if you don't have it, is available as E4440AU-0BW, price is $465.
The NVRAM message is indicative of you running older firmware - what version are you running? You can upgrade the firmware yourself, see www.agilent.com/find/psa_firmware.
