Hi -
The BER test only applies for EDR with a PRBS9 signal pattern.
In the N9081A, it uses a hard decision and compares the hard decision sequence with the PN9 sequence saved in the N9020A MXA signal analyzer.
N9081A does not support BER testing with PN15 and other fixed patterns.
