Basically, the wfm format is a proprietary format that can change at any time. Different models of scope and different versions of the software on a single may produce different format files. There are a couple of .wfm converters available, which are completely unsupported, and may not work with the current release of software, or your scope.
There are other, completely supported, formats that you can use, including csv, hdf5, and bin.
