Hi all,
May I ask a question on setting the DSA-X96204Q OSC to operate at high IF band as 12 GHz.
I want to analyse some signals (BW <4 Ghz), and I want to set the sampling rate of the OSC at 20 Gs.
However, the OSC just shown the signal bands from DC to 8GHz.
I want to analyse the signals not in this band, but at IF band around 12 GHz (center frequency).
Can anyone help me how to set the OSC to operate at this IF band? How could i set by code in Matlab?
Thanks
Van

Almost every scope with a BW higher than 1GHz makes extensive use of DSP to flatten and linearize the response out to the set BW. That same DSP technology includes a lot of anti-aliasing filtering to enforce the BW settings to about 40% of the sample rate.
There may be scopes in the future that provide support for the higher bands using internal decimation, but none do at the moment.
