x-parameters are the new thing at Agilent and I know that they are promoting an instrument for acquiring x-parameters. My question is does the LSSP simulation model what the x-parameters are? I find no reference to x-parameters in the ADS help. I am very new to ADS and basically I want to know if x-parameters are a part of ADS or simply a measurement parameter.

Thanks for you help.

X-Parameters are NOT the same as LSSP. They are a nonlinear representation of a component or circuit, including harmonics. Very soon (if not already), there will be an X-parameter extractor in ADS to use instead of LSSP. And as you noted, there is already an instrument that can measure X-parameters which can be used right now in ADS.

Here are a couple of links for more information. I'll try to find more links tomorrow.
