I want to simulate an conductive path, with and without a floating metal structure above. If the plane are declared like Perfect conductor, the resistance of the path remains very very close to the case without. The problem appears when I define a real conductivity and thickness for this plane: the resistance increases abnormally with frequency ( 2 or 3 higher that normal !).
Is it a mesh problem ?
I have tested RF and MW mode, Thick and Sheet models, increasing TL, with or without edge mesh and with and without mesh reduction;
The problem stays.
