Instead of "showing" Momentum how the nominal design is perturbed, can variables for the dimensions of particular elements be defined in schematic and design synchronize be used to create the perturbed layout?
This would then allow for complex changes, e.g. radii of curves, to occur in the perturbed design. I want to optimize two radial stubs at the ends of a transmission line that needs to be optimized (for length) as well.
Thanks in advance.

In ADS2003A, Agilent is introducing a completely different mechanism for doing 3D optimization which also enables true EM-Circuit co-optimization. In ADS2002C there is already the concept of Layout Components (see Momentum>Component>* menus) which allows parameterized co-simulation. You should take a look at the emcktcosim folder/directory in the Momentum examples. Any parameter can now be optimized including angles of stubs, arcs, Y-junctions and so on.
If you get stuck on specifics, please contact Agilent EEsof Tech Support.
