When powering on the scope, there is a clicking noise (maybe the power supply is cycling?) and the LEDs flash on and off. Any idea what could be the cause?

Hello jpreed00, When during the boot up process are you seeing the LEDs flash and the clicking noise. Usually the only parts that make noise are the attenuators, floppy drive, or processor. When the scope powers up, first the BIOS screen is displayed, the windows 98 starts up, then the scope application starts. While the scope application is booting, the LEDs will randomly flash and you will hear the attenuators cycle. Does the BIOS seem to run as normal? Does the scope application try to boot at all? Press the control escape keys on the external keyboard to bring up the windows start button. Exit the scope app and see if Windows is running normally. There is usually a white label with a VIN number near the serial number tag. What is the Vin number of the scope? It should be VIN#0015, 20, 30, 31, 32, or 33.
