Hello,
we installed Adobe Acrobat 7.0.7 Professional on the scope in order to generate test plots as PDF.
Unfortunately, printing on the "PDF printer" does NOT work when selecting it from the "DSO-Waveform Window". Instead of generating a PDF file, the scope chooses one of the network printers and generates a hardcopy instead of a PDF file.
However PDF-printing from other applications on the scope works as expected.
Thanx!

First off I have to say thank you for your patience.
One of the reasons that this has taken so long for anyone to respond is because we have not been able to locate a copy of Adobe Writer to install on the scope. I did however find PDF writer and installed it and it worked just fine. I have P2pdf7 loaded and it was free too.
I have software version 5.40 loaded on my Infiniium and wanted to recommend that you had the same loaded on your scope. It is real possible that this issue has been resolved.
we have software release 05.40 installed as you recommended.
Which Adobe writer version do you use?
We still see the following error pattern:
The DSO application software MODIFIES the DEFAULT PRINTER setting and generates a hardcopy on one of the network printers instead of a PDF.
As mentioned before, only the DSO application software makes troubles. The standard applications like Notepad allow to generate PDF as expected.
Regards,
Andy
I guess I did not make this totally clear on the first reply.
We don’t have a copy of Adobe Writer and we don’t have a way of purchasing one either. I did find a free PDF writer and installed it and t works fine. So I don’t think the scope application is having the problem it is the Adobe Writer that is having the problem.
I recommend that you use the control panel and uninstall the Adobe Writer version you have and install this P2pDF7. Here is the link that I downloaded it from.
