I'm fetching a waveform using IVI-COM in Visual Basic for Applications on a DSO81204B scope in the time domain on Channel 1. Occassionally my FFT algorithm gives an error and I nailed down the issue to a 1.#QNAN in my original data array.

I found the following relevant FAQ, but I do not have the luxury of looping through 2E+6 points time-wise to find these NAN occurances.

Does anyone know the root-cause of this on the scope side? How can it be avoided all together?
