Once recalled is there any way to clear the recalled trace without loosing the active trace?

I can't see any way to do it other than saving, clearing & recalling, but that only does the screen image, not the whole trace data.
It can also be annoying that you may not remember which trace is stored where in the internal memories, so if you accidentally recall the wrong one, there is no way to remove it without losing the current trace.
It would be a useful enhancement if either the 'clear display' button in the save/recall menu just cleared recalled traces, or there was a seperate 'clear recalled traces' button in the save/recall menu.
