It seem we are unable to control some external devices via UDA. From the moment we try to connect UDA hangs.
We tried to communicate with our Agilent pulse generator 81134A and some Agilent power supply E3640A without success. We tried to do this over LAN, USB and GPIB from a laptop and from our DSA91304A scope but in all scenarios the UDA application hangs from the moment we want connect. Within Agilent I/O control we can send individual SCPI commands with success. Note that we are able to control externally the scope DSA91304A via UDA but not our pulse generator or power supply.
Is there something we should keep in mind when connecting to external devices?

Select the Debug tab, then test.
Copy the SICL address from the IO libs to the test box, then test the connection to that device.
This should enable the connection through IO library.
