I am trying to write a routine that keeps a log of Alignments and that forces a user to hook up the cal signal to the RF input at a specified interval. The problem is if you do an :CAL:ALL? if you omit the cable there is no notification. You still get +0\n returned and if you look at the registers they come back 0 as well. Before I do the alignment I always *RST but omitting the cable still returns 0 for the :STATus:QUEStionable:CALibration[:EVENt]?.
Is there a way to see problematically if a operator fails to put on the cal cable?
