First of all, this is a great forum and has helped me considerably!

The problem... I have a program using GPIB to remotely control a E4407B specutrm analyzer. Part of this programs takes a screen capture and then uses mmem:data? to transfer the image file to my PC via GPIB. It works great for my E4407B spectrum analyzer, but now that I'm trying to use the same program with a E4448A spectrum analyzer, I can't get the mmem:data? command to work. Using the mmem:cat? query, I can see the file I'm trying to transfer, but when I use mmem:data? I get a timeout, with a "File not found" error. I also can't seem to delete the file (File name error).

Here is the basic command sequence:

:MMEM:STOR:SCR 'R:icap.gif'
*OPC?
:MMEM:CAT? 'R:'
Catalog output: 61299,1989632,"CAP.GIF,,15766","SCR.GIF,,14577","B.GIF,,16171","ICAP.GIF,,14785"
:MMEM:DATA? 'R:icap.gif'
:MMEM:DEL 'R:icap.gif'
*OPC?
:MMEM:CAT? 'R:'
Catalog output: 61299,1989632,"CAP.GIF,,15766","SCR.GIF,,14577","B.GIF,,16171","ICAP.GIF,,14785"

Thanks in advance,
