We are evaluating a new piece of Agilent Software for Avionics which uses the Digital Demod in a PSA Spectrum Analyser. We have a valid licence and using VEE we can create the object to the AMR software, we can set up different measurement parameters, so we are confident we are communicating well with the software. Manually we can run the software and make measurements via the PSA,
BUT.....
When we try to send the command to connect the software to the Agilent PSA, the software does a licence check, and a window pops up saying the Agilent.Cdf.Api is not digitally signed and that AgilentLicenseProvider.Init should be run first.
Has anyone ever had anything to do with AgilentLicenseService? Any ideas what could be wrong?

An interaction between a specific version of VEE and the Avionics software and the Agilent License Service has been reported; however, it has not been able to be reproduced on other computers. So, there appears to be an interaction between the software, and VEE, and the computer being used. The problem only occurs when the software is started up remotely. So, one work-around may be to manually start the software. Also, perhaps using a PC with a clean install of Windows may resolve the issue, too, since there may be an interaction with another software application on the PC.
Hope this helped -
