Hello to all.
I was wondering if anyone has some experience with Tektronix mixers (WM780 series) in regard with their compatibility with Agilent's/HP's spectrum analyzers.
I got hold of a set of these mixers and I am trying to figure out how they can be connected with the 8563E or 8566B spectrum analzyers, since the Tektronix mixers have only two inputs (well, not actually, they combine the IF/LO in one port, but this requires either a diplexer or one of their spectrum analyzers which apparently incorporates a diplexer). We have also HP mixers going up to 40 GHz and connect easily, but the Tektronix ones go up to 320 GHz and I would really love to find out how to use them with our spectrum analyzers.
Does anyone has a clue about this?
Thank you very much in advance.

For 320 GHz, you are mixing with something like the 53rd LO harmonic or so. Some mixers require you to use multipliers before the mixer, but this is not usual.
The 8566 has an LO output and IF input you can connect to the diplexer. I assume the 8563 has something similar.
