Hi
I've got a 8594E that has been working great for some years, but i've a problem at the moment with the instrument powering off after about 1 minute of starting up from cold - if I try to power cycle it again then I cannot get it to startup again until I leave it for a bit till it can perform a cold start again. I've whipped the lid off and all power indication LEDs come on at cold start, but none apart from the 24V one which comes on momentarily are illuminated if trying to power up from warm start.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem ?
Are the component-level repair/schematics docs available anywhere ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Rich

The issue you’re describing sounds like the power supply assembly is faulty. Schematics for this assembly do not exist from HP/Agilent. The good news is even though your product is beyond its support life, the power supply assembly is still sold through Agilent parts. The part number is 5062-8229 and sells for around $1k.
