dear All,
I want to perform EMI test with N9039A and E4440A. According to Agilent's application note, a presweep will be done, and do measure at marker at the fail frequency, but I found that there were some different at frequency and amplitude between the datas from the sweep traces and from measure at marker, so i hope to do measure at marker at every frequency, but it cost so long time, maybe 1.4s per point. So is there somebody could tell me how to do EMI test with them? Thank you very much
best regards,
Alex

If you sweep with the peak detector and then do a meaure @ marker with whatever detectors you choose the peak values should be pretty close to the same value. If you are measuring very impulsive signals you may need to make some changes to either the measure @ marker dwell time or maybe even the number of sweep points that you are using to take your sweeps.
You should be able to do your testing as the application note outlines, and this should be the most efficient way to do it for most cases, but there may need to be some setting changes for your particular needs.
