I have used the VNA  about 5 years, but I really do not know the uncertainty  of  the test result. For example,I have a passive microwave network, the system return loss(s11) less than -18dB,the s12(s21) about -10dB,and the ripple of phase about +/-5 degree.First time ,I use the better cable which vswr less than 1.1 and the s12=-0.5dB,and the second time I use the worse cable which vswr about 1.5 and the s12=-5dB.

Anybody can tell me how to calculate the uncertainty of the two test?
