Microsoft does not support Windows 95 any longer. The best we can offer is to upgrade the scope to Windows 98 and put the latest scope rev 4.50 on your scope. Rev 4.50 did fix a few cal bugs. There should be a check box for details under the cal dialog box. Check this box and see what the trigger failures are. This might give a clue to either a HW or SW failure. A HW failure we cannot help you with because we ran out of repair parts about three years ago.
The 50ohm 1Mohm is controled by a relay on the front end of the acquisiton board. The relay just switches between the 50ohm and 1Mohm resistors. I have never heard of the problem you are describing. Usually the fault is a blow resistor or resistor going down in value due to over voltage.
