8510 to PNA translation

Hi there, we've just upgraded to a shiny new PNA-X from our trusty old 8510C system <sniff>. Now of course the time has come to upgrade all the vb software used to control the VNA. I would prefer not to use cXl if possible, which will require me translating all the old 8510 commands to the PNA ones. What would be really handy is a "Rosetta Stone" or dictionary, which has a side-by-side comparison of the PNA equivalent command for each 8510 command. Does such a thing exist?

Some other questions

I wish to transfer calibrated, gated data from the PNA to the computer in real, imag format. On the 8510 I was able to simply use the outpdata command while displaying the S parameter magnitude, on the PNA I think I'm forced to use formatted data <grrr> which means I have to read the real and imag data seperately by changing the graph shown on the screen. Or is it possible to transfer the gated data using the SnP data format and continue to disply magnitude data on the screen?

Is the PNA's real32 data format equivalent to the 8510's form2 format?
