I'm using E8362C and revision is Rev A.09.20.06.

I made a program of time domain transform.
There are 2 wait times.
If I do not wait after TRIG:SOUR IMM, I cannot find the rising edge at the desired point.
If I do not wait before CALC1:TRANS:TIME:STAT ON, following error occurres.
    Time domain transform in low pass mode requires that
    Stop Frequency = Start Frequency * Number of Point.
    The low pass transform has been deactivated.

I'd like to know why these wait time is needed.  Please advice.

The Program is ...
---
TRIG:SOUR IMM

<wait 1sec>

CALC1:TRAN:TIME:TYPE LPAS
CALC1:TRAN:TIME:STIM STEP
CALC1:TRAN:TIME:LPFREQ
CALC1:TRAN:TIME:STAR -5.000000E-09
CALC1:TRAN:TIME:STOP 4.000000E-08

<wait 10sec>

CALC1:TRAN:TIME:STAT ON
TRIG:SOUR MAN
*OPC?

SYST:CHAN:HOLD
INIT:CONT OFF
TRIG:SCOP CURR
TRIG:SOUR MAN
INIT1:IMM
*OPC?

FORM:DATA ASC,0
CALC1:FORM REAL

CALC1:DATA? FDATA
