Got another weird problem w/ an HP54601a.  The display is not (and can't be adjusted to be) as "tall" as it should.  Additionally, the bottom edge of this two-third height image is (1) sitting about 1/3rd the way up from the bottom of the screen (instead of sitting at or near the screen bottom); and (2) the top line of text (which channel active, V/div, etc.) is flipped over, upside-down and hanging like a bat underneath the top edge of the displayed graph.

Weird.  I thought it was a leaky cap on the CRT control board.  No such luck.

All voltages check out ok.  CRT appears to be undamaged.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

TIA
