SMC with port 2 source

I’m using an 8364C with option 083 and code version A.09.10.05 to measure OPwr on a frequency converter.  The test configuration requires the input to the converter to be sourced by Port 2.  Input power is -12 dBm and output power is +19 dBm.   I use a 20 dB pad plus about 4 dB of cable loss between the output and Port 1.  Is that sufficient?

The input circuit contains a diplexer to bring in a 100 MHz reference to the input of the converter.  For this reason I use the PNA feature that does “Separate power cal for input and output (do not use thru)”.  I have struggled to get a good cal and measurement with the 20 dB pad in place.  Can you recommend a cal method to deal with the pad on port 1?
