PNA-X source power cal using N1913A power meter

I'm trying to perform a source power calibration on an N5242A PNA-X network analyzer using an N1913A power meter.  The N5242A firmware is at rev A.09.00.  Agilent IO Libraries are v. 15.5.  I've tried connecting the N1913A to the N5242A via GPIB and USB for the cal with no luck.  I know the instruments are talking because the "RMT" indicator turns on on the N1913A, but when I try to run the source power cal I get this message onscreen: "The source power measurement failed.  Please check power meter remote interface connections and settings, and sensor connections."

On this N5242A, I've performed source power cals successfully in the past using E4418B (GPIB) and U2002A (USB) power meters/sensors.

Any suggestions?
