Source Power Calibration for E8362B PNA network analyzer

I am attempting to use the swept power gain compression method for finding the 1db compression points of an LNA. I am referencing the Application Note 1408-7: Amplifier Linear and Gain Compression Measurements.

The process seems to be straight forward until i am told to "Connect an appropriate power sensor to test port 1 and then perform the calibration".

1) Is a power meter required for source power calibration or can it be done using an electronic calibration module.

If not, how?

If yes:

I am unsure how to interface the power meter and the PNA.

2) What drivers (if any) are required to interface the PNA with a rohde&schwarz power meter using a GPIB?

3)The user guide suggests "Apply power to the power meter and allow 30 minutes warm-up time before beginning calibration. " By this does it mean apply the sweeping power over the range?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this and lend a helping hand.
