Scpi command clarification?

Dear Users,

good afternoon 

 

i am using Agilent 34972a data logger for the measurement purposes with a Labview Programme. 

here Labview and Agilent communicate with a Visa architecture and Scpi commands; there are three different types of Scpi commands available which are Config, measure, sense may I know the difference?

 

sense command allows me to do a extent accurate measurement with Nplc and aperture.
