I recently acquired a HP8752A . This is a wonderful VNA.
But I have a question:
Each time when I have stored a calibration in internal memory I loose the entire calibration when the VNA is switched OFF.
-- is this normal behaviour ?
I also checked that the internal buffered RAM had its 5V by the buffer capacitor, it keeps the volatage over days !
-- has anyone an idea what goes wrong or do I wrong?

Your Flash EEPROM to store measurement files could be corrupted. This is a common problem on older instruments.
