The screen often stops while using vee.
Without more information there's no way to determine or fix what you are seeing. There's any number of ways that a program can be temporarily nonresponsive. The process could be swapping or locked in IO or computation. There could be an incompatibility with your graphics driver. You could be seeing a scan of some sort such as an antivirus or directory scan. The system could be updating. A process on another screen could be swamping your GPU. Your pointer driver could be having issues. These and many other things could create the pause you are seeing by tying up system resources.
So- go back and find out and post details. Exactly what are you doing and what are you seeing? Are you editing a program or running it? Bring up a process monitor and see what is using the CPU. Check for memory usage. Do you have other active screens? If there's a VEE program running exactly what is it doing when you see the lag?
Given more information like that someone here can probably make a good estimate of the cause and cure for what you are seeing.
